Understanding The Great Commission

Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

1. Preach the Gospel (not miracles)
2. To all nations (not limited to certain people only)
3. Make them disciples (not our church members and puppets)
4. Baptise them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
5. Teach them to obey all things of Jesus (not your church doctrines and theologies or ideologies)

What is Gospel?

1. Jesus the Son of God became man and born into this world
2. Crucified
3. Died on cross for sins of all human kind
4. Buried
5. Risen from the dead on third day
6. Ascended into heaven after 40 days of resurrection
7. Will come back again to take His people

What is the outcome of the Gospel?

1. New birth
2. Salvation
3. Forgiveness of sins
4. Curses been removed
5. New mind or thinking
6. Physical healing
7. Miracles, signs and wonders in life

Mark 16:15-20
15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. 16 The one who believes and is baptised will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." 19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it.
